Game Of Thrones Beach …..

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned it before on this blog but Downhill Beach is another Causeway Coast beauty, used in the early series’ of GOT for some of the battle scenes.

Should you wish, from here you can walk a continuous beach walk for some 11-12 miles along to Benone Strand and out around Magilligan Point to the Martello Tower that stands guard over Lough Foyle. And, when the world returns to normal, there’s no better place for a pint of the ‘black stuff’ than the Point Bar.
