Northern Ireland’s major Bike Show …..

We had a trip out to the Eikon Centre, Lisburn for a day at the bike show.

To fill a day at a bike show there needs to be plenty on show and although many manufacturers had a presence not all were there and we thought there could have been a few more trade stands selling clothing, helmets etc; . One of the big draws to a bike show, for us, is the possibility of a real bargain or two kit wise, sadly nothing.

We enjoyed a good hour or so listening to the interviews with some of the top boys from road racing, probably the highlight of the day, and there was entertaining action outside.

Overall, it was a day out but noticeable absences by some manufacturers and a shortage of trade stands left us feeling it could have been better.

Ps. didn’t realise we had a tv personality amongst our friends 😉
