Castlerock Beach …..

I understand it must be tough for many, this lock-down, and the advice to stay home and exercise from home offers them little choice. For us, we count ourselves fortunate; from our doorstep we are in easy walking distance of, behind us numerous forest walks and in front of us both Castlerock Beach and Downhill Beach.

The other day we saved our walk until the evening and around 6.00ish we went down to Castlerock Beach. We just about had it to ourselves. It was stunning, not a breath of wind and the spray off the surf just hanging in the air.

I’ve tried to be a bit arty-farty with some of the photos whatever, I hope you enjoy them and I hope in some small way they inspire some of you, once this Virus thing is over, to visit this part of the world. It is beautiful.
