British Championship Racing …..

We paid a visit to the Aghadowey Race Oval this evening, to watch a couple of rounds of the British Championships Stock Car Racing.

There was a great enthusiasm around the place and when racing was on it was very watchable but as with a lot of events these days H&S seems to detract. I know, stating the obvious, it’s important but common sense now seems to have no place, basically too many stoppages for insignificant incidents (just my thoughts 🙂 )

We met John Christie, World Champion, (photo with Oliver our neighbour) very down to earth, pleasant, unassuming sort of guy.
